Slash is an Awesome guitarist. He's got it all. I mean you don't just wake up and find that you are really good at something, you need dedication and Slash has that dedication needed to be great, and that's only one of the many reasons he deserves his place in the top 5.
Slash is unlike many guitar players in that he doesn't just play, he gets the meaning and the feeling of music. Its like music isn't just something he does, it's who he is and what he loves. Another reason for him being in the top 5.

Eminem is a legend in his own right. The greatest rap legend of all time now and forever. Lyrical genius. Nuff said.

Bohemian Rhapsody was that "having all" song. Good lyrics, excellent musical structure, prototype sound and much of hard work been made on it so as to sound perfect. It's a really clever piece of Art and it sounds modern even now, 32 years after its very release. I'm glad to see it on its deserving position.

When the writer of this song, the late Freddie Mercury had come into this studio with "Bohemian Rhapsody", the rest of the band had thought of it foolish, bizzare and odd---but went along with the "Fred thing"---now it is a masterpice that has withstood time, even more than thirty years old----nothing, and no one has come close to re-creating something so tongue-and-cheek, innovative, and still makes teenagers want to bang their heads and air-gutair while driving. Simply the best.

It's daring, fun and doesn't fall short of bravado. Simply genious.

No one is giving MJ a sympathy vote... are you crazy? Anyone saying something like that does not know what an amazing range he had, how he could control his voice, or what he could do with it. His vocal range was a 4 octave of a tenor, he had an amazing vibrato and sang across just about every genre of music... it is one of the things he is known for. It's sad that some just don't know enough yet comment or merely dismiss him because he was a fantastic dancer as well and somehow they forget what he was originally known for, which was singing from a very young age with the soul of an experienced adult. The emotion and passion he sang with was so authentic and palpable. I am tired of seeing some people discount him when he was both a fantastic singer as well as dancer. He was the complete package as an artist.
